Data Deletion Instructions

Built For Rank respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of any information we hold about you, including data we may have obtained through third-party platform integrations such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (YouTube), and LinkedIn.
What data we may hold
Depending on the services you use with us, we may store:
- Account profile information (name, email, company, contact details)
- Authentication tokens used to publish content on your behalf to Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, YouTube channels, and LinkedIn profiles you have connected to your Built For Rank account
- Generated and uploaded media (text, images, video) that is part of social media campaigns you have authorized us to publish
- Public metrics returned by Meta, Google, and LinkedIn for posts we have published on your behalf
- Project, billing, and support history
How to request deletion
Send an email to stephen@builtforrank.com from the email address associated with your Built For Rank account with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include:
- The full name and email on your Built For Rank account
- Which platform integrations (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) you want disconnected, if any
- Whether you want your entire account deleted, or only the third-party platform tokens and associated data
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. Once your data is deleted, the action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Revoking platform access directly
You can also revoke Built For Rank's access to your third-party accounts at any time, directly through the platform:
- Facebook / Instagram: Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → find the app named after your Built For Rank integration → Remove
- YouTube / Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions → find the Built For Rank app → Remove access
- LinkedIn: Settings & Privacy → Data Privacy → Permitted Services → find the Built For Rank app → Remove
Revoking access directly on the platform will invalidate the tokens we hold, but it does not delete account data already stored in our systems. Use the email request above for full deletion.
